The  Sarampaso African Mask is known by the braided hair in knots. The hair knots are made from the fern tree. The face of this mask is decorated using copper making this piece of art standout.
It also has a hanging beard that is also made from fern and a hat made from sisal that was used hold the mask on the head. The white color is made from white chalk harvested from the riverbed.
