Our handwoven nesting basket are perfect for storage; toys, clothes, hats and magazines fit neatly in the baskets. They come with side handles to make it easy to carry content in the basket. They are incredibly durable, functional, and stylish. Your woven nesting baskets can also be used as decorative basket, blanket basket, and our favorite; the ultimate spot for hide and seek ;)
Handwoven by women self-help groups in rural villages of Kitui, Kenya using traditional techniques passed down generations, the sisal fibre is sun-dried and dyed using artificial color to give this basket a beautiful jungle green color. Since they are handmade, there can be a slight difference in the sizes and the color too.

Aftercare:
- Your basket may arrive misshapen or flattened. Don't fret, they are easy to shape. If this happens you can use a container of similar shape to remold it again.
- Avoid exposure to direct to sunlight since they can fade their original color.
- Keep away from a dump area or make sure that it doesn't come in conduct with water. e.g If you have to use it as a plant pot cover, we advise to use a plastic lining to the basket.
